Frequently Asked Questions

How long will deliveries take?
More than half of all orders we receive ship out on the same day that they are placed. 95% of all orders ship no later than the next business day. Occasionally an item is out of stock and will ship directly from our wholesale distributor and may take as long as three business days to ship. Once your product ships it will usually be 2-4 days before it is delivered to your location. We make every effort to ship each order as quickly as possible.

How will my order be shipped?
Most of our items ship by FedEx ground or home delivery. Very small items (fittings) ship by US mail, or optionally by priority mail.

Do I have to be home to when my package is delivered?
Not usually. FedEx usually will make the delivery even if there is no one to sign for it.

What do I have to do If I decide to return something?
First you would need to get a return authorization from advanced. Click here for details about product returns. Then, in the case of an error on our part (damaged or incorrect product etc) you would receive a "call tag" (prepaid return shipping label) that you would stick on the package and notify the shipper to pick it up. Or alternatively we might elect to issue you a credit for a shipping allowance. When your returned product is recieved and processed a credit would be issued or your replacement would be shipped to you ASAP.

Do you ship your products Internationally or Overseas?
We will ship to most Canadian, APO (military), Alaska, and Hawaii adresses, however shipping to Alska and Hawaii are very expensive.

Do your toppers come with a fabric covering?
Only if specified for the particular model, but most don't. We recommend that you use a regular quilted mattress pad (which you probably already have) on top of your topper, or any bed that you buy from any source for that matter. This will keep your bedding clean and make it last longer while also preventing you from feeling too hot from close contact with the urethane foam. You can get quilted mattress pads at very competitive prices at any department store. Most (not all) of the web sites that are selling toppers with "covers" are actually selling quilted mattress pads as the "cover".

What is TB-603?
The California legislature passed Assembly Bill AB-603 in 2001 requiring the California Bureau of Home Furnishings to establish new mattress flammability standards that address fires ignited by open flames by January 1, 2004. In response to this law, the Bureau issued TB-603 (Technical Bulletin 603), the nation's first standard requiring that mattresses, box springs and futons provide protection against an open flame causing the product to burn intensely. This regulation went into effect January 1, 2005. All mattresses, box springs and futons manufactured after that date for sale to California consumers must be certified by the manufacturer to comply with the Technical Bulletin 603 standard, and must be labeled accordingly.
